Knocking through properly: calculations, steels, and making good so it looks like it was always that way.

From a straightforward suite swap to a wet room, including tiling, electrics and making good so you are not project-managing three firms.
Garden rooms
Insulated rooms in the garden, used as an office or a spare room, with the same finish as the house they sit behind.

The small list that never gets finished. Booked as a single day rather than squeezed in when it suits us.

A demo, not a real building firm
Thorn & Ashby is a fictional building and joinery firm invented to show what the WaveSites trades template looks like once someone fills it in properly. There is no real firm behind it, no van, and nobody to quote for your extension. The names in the team section are invented. What is real is the page itself: opening hours, a site-visit board, services, proof, gallery, team, WaveReviews cards, WaveAI answers and the same enquiry form a working builder would get emails from.

Is this a real business?
No. This is a Tidalux WaveSites beta preview, one of a small set showing what different industry templates look like once filled in. There is no firm, no van and no quote.
How would quotes work on a real build?
A builder would explain their process here: a site visit, a written quote with a fixed price where possible, and clear day rates for anything that cannot be pinned down until the walls are open.
Is the visit board above real?
The times are real content the owner controls, and they agree with the opening hours. What a static page cannot do is hold the slot, so it routes you to the enquiry form and says so under the board. On a live build WaveBookings takes the visit there and then.
What is the assistant in the corner?
The WaveAI bolt-on, answering the questions that usually cost a phone call. It is genuinely open and shut, no JavaScript involved, and it says plainly at the foot of the panel that this demonstration only knows the answers somebody wrote down first.
Where would the reviews come from?
WaveReviews asks after the job, nudges once, and puts approved reviews on the page. Every card here is labelled as an illustrative example, because inventing praise for a firm that does not exist would be dishonest.
Do you cover my street?
The Areas page lists the usual patch. Further than about twenty miles and the travel starts costing more than it should, so a real firm would rather point you at somebody local.
