What the OSA is
The Online Safety Act 2023 introduces duties for providers of certain user-to-user and search services that have links with the United Kingdom. Ofcom is the regulator responsible for producing codes of practice, registering services where required, and supervising compliance.
Guidance evolves as Ofcom publishes final frameworks. You should monitor Ofcom's online safety hub for the latest requirements that apply to your service.
