Questions we get a lot

Straight answers for clients, soon-to-be clients, non-technical founders and the person who got handed the website login.

We help with the digital surfaces small businesses rely on: WaveSites websites, WaveAI assistants, free WaveCheck scans, UK managed hosting, bookings and reviews features, billing questions and practical support after launch.

Yes. You do not need to know hosting, DNS, code or AI terms. Tell us what you are trying to do in normal language and we will translate it into the right next step, whether that is a free check, a website, a ticket or a product setup.

You can start with a free WaveCheck on /wavecheck, or Launch on WaveSites with no card. Paid Flow, Rise and Surge tiers and WaveAI allowances are on /pricing. WaveSites builds are quoted from £99 when you need a full site. The pricing page stays public so you can check the numbers without asking for a quote first.

Run a free WaveCheck, skim /pricing, or ask the support assistant on this page. A human can help narrow it down too. The aim is to find the smallest useful fix, not sell you a pile of tools you do not need.

You own your content, domain, data and customer relationships. Project ownership depends on the proposal, but we do not build support around trapping you. If something needs documenting for handover, ask and we will make it clear.

Tidalux-managed hosting is looked after by a UK team, with public status updates and sensible GDPR-aware defaults. Some projects also use client-owned or third-party hosting when that is the right fit. We will tell you which applies.

Yes. We can support WordPress, static sites, Laravel apps and custom frontends. We will usually recommend the simplest stable option for the job, not the trendiest stack for the sake of it.

Often, yes. We can look at speed, SEO basics, broken forms, confusing pages, hosting problems, email setup and accessibility issues. If the old site is fighting the business too hard, we will say so plainly and suggest a cleaner route.

Yes. That might be a £99 WaveSites build, a fuller website, a Laravel platform, a booking flow, a QR product, a support tool or a custom internal system. We start with what the business needs the thing to do.

Support is for keeping existing work healthy: questions, bugs, small fixes, hosting, billing and account help. Project work is for new builds, redesigns, larger changes and anything that needs planning, scope and sign-off.

Our public target is a first reply within 24 hours on active work. Many weekday replies are faster. Urgent client tickets and higher support tiers are handled first, especially when a live site is affected.

Most support starts by email, ticket or message so the details do not get lost. If a call or screen share is the sensible next step, especially on active project work or priority support, we will arrange one.

Email hello@tidalux.io or open a billing ticket in the client portal. Tell us which service to cancel. We process cancellations within one business day and we do not make it awkward.

We review refunds case by case. Monthly subscriptions can be cancelled anytime but are not usually refunded pro-rata. Project deposits follow your proposal. Email billing@tidalux.io with your invoice number and concern.

Portal clients can use forgot password on the portal sign-in page. Staff Books users use /password/forgot on billing.tidalux.io. Contact support if you are still stuck or no longer have access to the email address.

Check /status first. If there is no listed incident, open a portal ticket and mark it as site down. Include the domain, what visitors see and when it started. Do not send passwords or card details.

Check the relevant product page or topic guide, then open a ticket with the URL, what you expected and what happened instead. For WaveAI, include the page where the widget is installed and whether quota is showing in the portal.

Please email abuse@tidalux.io immediately with reproduction steps and impact. Do not disclose publicly until we have investigated. We aim to acknowledge within 24 hours.

Email abuse@tidalux.io with URLs, timestamps and any evidence of spam, phishing or policy violations. We investigate all abuse reports promptly.

Usually no. That message often comes from a browser extension, not Tidalux. We only load our own approved assets and fonts. If you see the warning in a clean browser profile too, send us the URL and screenshot.

Yes. WaveAI and the guides are there to save time, not block you. Use Talk to a human, email support or open a ticket if the question needs context, judgement or account-specific help.
