Apps
App Store and Google Play
The TapYes pages remain the notice for the app. If they and this page ever differ on the app, follow the TapYes page.
In short
The details that a store listing, a privacy form, and a parent should be able to find in one place.
- Tidalux Ltd publishes the apps. The developer name and the address on a store listing are the legal name and the registered office.
- TapYes is a personal reminder for ages 18 and over. It is not a clinic, not a medical device, and not medical advice.
- You can use TapYes without an account. Deletion of the optional spare key is in the app and at https://tapyes.ch/delete.html.

What is listed
TapYes is live. The Android app is coming soon to Google Play. The Play developer page is Tidalux on Google Play. On iPhone, a paid extra is billed by the App Store, as the TapYes terms describe.
Quash has a published website. The app is not in a store. We will publish a Quash privacy notice, terms, and a deletion page before any store listing. Until then, the Quash site does not describe a TapYes account.
What TapYes is
TapYes puts a name on a button and reminds you at the time you pick. It is a personal reminder. It is not a clinic, not a healthcare provider, not a medical device, and not medical advice. It does not tell you what to take, when to take it, or whether you should. Notifications can be delayed or missed. Do not use it as your only reminder for something time-critical.
The listing is for ages 18 and over. TapYes is not in Designed for Families, and it is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect children’s data. If we learn that we have, we will delete it.
The reminder itself stays free. Keep, and any other digital extra, is optional. The price is shown in the store, or on the TapYes site, before you pay. We do not set that price here.
Data the store forms should match
This is the same account as the Privacy Policy and the TapYes notice.
- The name on the button, the reminder time, loudness, look, colour, optional cutoff, optional cues, optional supplements, further reminders if you have Keep, and Yes logs stay on the device, unless you turn on optional backup.
- On a phone, that store is encrypted on the device. Uninstalling the app, or clearing its storage, removes it.
- You can skip sign-in. TapYes still works. If you choose the spare key, the app asks Google to confirm it is you, with an identity check only. It does not ask for your email address or your contacts. The app keeps a hashed Google user id on the device.
- If a backup is switched on, we store that hashed id, a sealed box, and a wrap of the key. The words that open the wrap stay on your devices. They are not uploaded, so we cannot read the names or the Yes taps inside the box, including a medicine name if that is what you typed. If backup is off, nothing from TapYes is sent to us.
- A payment receipt stores a product id, an expiry, and which store billed it. It does not store the name on the button or a Yes log, and it does not store the card number.
- No advertising SDK. No analytics SDK. No crash reporter. No sale of data. We do not use TapYes data to train models. We do not show third-party advertising. Reminders are scheduled on the device. We do not use those notifications to collect data.
We do not ask TapYes for your contacts, your precise location, or an advertising identifier. The company site, tidalux.io, is separate. Its cookies are in the Cookie Policy.
How a paid extra is billed
- On Android, digital extras are billed only by Google Play. They are not billed by a card form inside the app, and not by Stripe.
- On iPhone, digital extras are billed only by the App Store.
- On the TapYes website, the charge goes through Stripe. We do not store the card number.
A monthly plan renews until you cancel it in the store, or on the site, where you bought it. Cancel in that store’s subscription settings. On the App Store, cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period, in your Apple ID subscriptions. The store can charge the renewal shortly before the period ends. You keep access until the period you have paid for ends, unless the store’s rules say otherwise. A one-off price is not a subscription. There is no free trial of Keep described here. The reminder itself is free.
Refunds for a store purchase follow that store. Refunds for a Stripe payment on the TapYes site follow the charge on that site. The steps, and the consumer cancellation right for a Tidalux invoice, are on the refunds page.
If you download from the App Store
These points apply to a download of TapYes from the App Store. They sit with the TapYes terms. Where they and the TapYes terms disagree about the store download, these points prevail for that download. The agreement for the app is between you and Tidalux Ltd, not Apple.
- The licence is personal and non-transferable. You may use the app on Apple devices you own or control, as Apple’s usage rules allow.
- Apple is not responsible for the app or its content, and Apple has no duty to maintain or support it.
- If the app fails to conform to an applicable warranty, you may tell Apple, and Apple may refund the purchase price for the app. To the fullest extent the law allows, Apple has no other warranty duty for the app. Any other claim about the product is for us, not Apple.
- We, not Apple, are responsible for product claims, for claims that the app infringes someone else’s intellectual property, and for consumer claims about the app. Intellectual property questions can be sent to legal@tidalux.io.
- You must also follow any third-party terms that apply to your device, such as your network provider’s rules.
- You confirm that you are not in a country subject to a US government embargo, and that you are not on a US government list of prohibited or restricted parties.
- Apple and Apple’s subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of this section. Once you accept it, Apple may enforce it against you.
Nothing in this section limits a right UK law says we cannot limit, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud. The TapYes terms state the liability cap for the app. Do not read the tidalux.io services cap as the cap for a Keep purchase.
If you download from Google Play
Google Play bills a paid extra in the Android app. Google’s terms apply to that charge. Our terms, and the TapYes terms, apply to the app. Cancel and request a refund in Google Play. We do not operate a second checkout inside the Android app.
Deletion
You do not need an account to use the reminder. If you created the optional spare key, use the in-app path or https://tapyes.ch/delete.html. To delete server data and keep the spare key, use https://tapyes.ch/delete-data.html. Those pages write to support@tidalux.io. The TapYes notice says we aim to action those requests within 14 days.
A tidalux.io account, invoice, or enquiry is not a TapYes account. There is not a self-serve delete button for those. Email legal@tidalux.io. How we handle that request, and how to complain, is in the Privacy Policy.
