Custom domains

Point your own domain at a WaveSite, verify DNS, and wait for SSL.

Custom domains are available on Flow, Rise and Surge. Launch sites stay on the Tidalux host subdomain.

Connect a domain

  1. Upgrade to a plan that allows custom domains if you are still on Launch.
  2. Add the domain in the portal WaveSites domain settings.
  3. Create the DNS records we show (usually an apex or www target).
  4. Wait for verification, then SSL provisioning. Allow time for DNS propagation.
Q Do you sell domains?

We can help with domains and DNS guidance. Hosting and domain products are listed under /hosting and /hosting/domains.

Q Can I keep email on my current provider?

Yes. Only change the web records we ask for. Leave MX records alone unless you intend to move mail.
